We are happy to report that we have been able to implement some of our action plans. Below is a list of some key project achievements!
It is all very exciting!
- Field officers in Nepal are in place.
- The latrine projects have started.
- We have enrolled one of our NSP Nepal Board Members, Ashmita, in an Excell course
- 10 libraries have been approved for our schools from the Room to Read project.
- We have made a connection with a Canadian based NGO solar power organization (www.sunfarmer.ca) and are actively researching the appropriateness of one of schools (Sulo Phokara) to receive solar power for computer installation.
It is all very exciting!
