"The New Humanitarian.org states that, "While the coronavirus surge in India has dominated global attention, a parallel crisis has been unfolding largely in the shadows in neighbouring Nepal, pushing a beleaguered health system to the brink.”
"The Himalayan nation has a fraction of India’s population – and of its health resources – but its weekly coronavirus cases and deaths are among the highest in the world on a per capita basis. Nepal has recorded roughly 163 cases per 100,000 people over the last week, according to World Health Organization figures. India, where a second wave triggered rounds of emergency aid pledges, recorded about 98. Nepal’s hospitals have been crammed to capacity or beyond for the last month. There are shortages of oxygen, medicine, and vital equipment..."

We at NSP Canada are devastated to hear about the Covid19 crisis in Nepal and that it has reached the mountainous villages in Kavre.  The Kavre villages, that we support, are remote. Medical assistance in the villages is rare. The alternative is walking hours, away from home to get help.
Our team in Nepal has responded quickly, risking their own health to distribute packs of vitamins in hopes of building immunity. This help is funded by you, our supporters and we appreciate your help.
We thank you!

A donation to Nepal School Projects will help to make this Nepali mother’s dream for her children come true.
… “Drinking water is a problem in villages, as it takes up to three hours each day to fetch water”
… “clean water saves children from diseases”
… “before we had latrines, villagers used open areas”
… “NSP has provided basic education to the children in the villages”

This year, you can CELEBRATE MOTHERHOOD by GIVING BACK. Mothers in Nepal, like all mothers, have dreams of a better life for their children.
Yet their dreams are simple: c
lean water, sanitation and access to education.
Even during COVID, Nepal School Projects has been busy working, but we need your help to finish building latrines and water systems that will deliver fresh water to over 1000 villagers.

Our Annual Fundraising Budget is $100,000.00. That said, we need $20,000.00 NOW, to finish our current projects.

You will receive a Charitable Tax Receipt.
Donations can be made by following the link below.
If you would like to mail a cheque our mailing address is: Nepal School Projects, Box 1405, Waterdown, On, L0B 1A0

Just something to think about…..
………$5, $10, or $20 a month in honour of your mother will help with books and school supplies
…….. $100, $250, or other amount in honour of your mother will help with water installation
………$350 will build a latrine that will be used by several families in a village and improve sanitation
………any amount will help… EVERY CENT GOES TO THE PEOPLE OF NEPAL…

Thank you for caring. Thank you for helping us to help Mothers in Nepal.
